Clifford is a male, approximately 2 years old but possibly a bit younger. Our best guess at breed is Anatolian Mix (livestock guardian dog). He is laid back and friendly but his size can get the best of him at times. Being the biggest dog in the shelter, we expected him to be able to have strength equivalent to a team of Amish men moving a barn (which he might), but he is smart and has learned quite the gentle nature. He loves to go for relaxing walks and take in nature. Clifford does great with most dogs, even the small ones but is a dominant male so would not be suitable for another dominant male. We also know that Clifford would not be suitable for livestock big and small, or cats. Like most dogs, Clifford will require time and general training to learn basics like leash training (which he is currently doing amazing with) and other obedience and calm behaviors.
