What is in home fostering?
Fostering is when you open up your home for a dog that is in our shelter. You care for them like they are yours, but expenses are paid for and they come with all the supplies needed. Although expenses are paid for, we do appreciate any help along the way. Fostering also helps the dogs learn about house life and basic commands, it also reduces stress as the shelter can be a lot for them.
​What is a medical foster?
A medical foster is needed for a specific length of time, for the dog to heal from a surgery. Someone who can provide a calm environment, and follow medical instructions that usually include medication, to help aid in a quick recovery and healing process.
