Sassy & Belle - AvailableWe are Sassy and Belle. We are Lab Sheppard Cross. We are older girls (about 8 years old) and we are a bonded pair, which means we have to be adopted together.
Sometimes I like to eat Belle's dinner, so I am a little chunky. Our foster mom is such a sweet lady and she walks us for miles and miles and miles every day. Our foster mom would like to see us go to a happy family, who would like two dogs to play with and lay on the couch with. If you are looking for a couple of sweet girls, come and meet us! |
Luna - UnavailableHello, I am Luna and I am a Husky.
I am the sweetest little girl, people fall in love with me instantly. I am a well-mannered educated little lady. I was found running at large and I was then brought to the TLPS facility where I am being cared for by wonderful volunteers. I am looking for my forever family and great home for me is one where there are no other dogs or cats. We don't really get along. If you are interested in meeting me, please reach out to the Taber Lost Paws and we can set up a meeting. |
Petunia - UnavailableHi, my name is Petunia and I am a 1-2 year excitable Akita mix girl. I came to Taber Lost Paws after I was found roaming in town.
I am a ball of energy, I love running and playing fetch. I am working on returning the ball so it's a working progress. I play great with my shelter buddy Ralph. The volunteers are working on teaching me better manners and I am picking up what they are teaching me, I found a family that decided to foster to adopt me and I am loving my time with them. Stay tuned for my adoption story. |
Tess - UnavailableHi, I am a 1-year-old mixed breed female, cute as a button. I love to run and play outside with my toys. I am currently getting fostered to adopt with a wonderful couple, their cat and I are trying to get along, but I mostly ignore him. My foster mom and I go on long walks and we are working on my recall.
I love going in the river swimming. I've made wonderful friends with my neighbourhood kids. Stay tuned for my adoption story. |
Sid - UnavailableHi, I am Sid.
I am a Chihuahua Cross. I am learning to accept people and working with my trainer daily to overcome my issues. I was brought into TLPS after my owner passed away. The TLPS volunteers are working with me every day and getting to know me and my personality. I am happy to say that I have been placed in a foster-to-adopt home, where I am being looked after very well. I had to have surgery to remove a lot of my teeth, and my new foster-to-adopt family is trying to teach me to not be such a ball of nerves. It's a work in progress. |
Willow - AvailableHi, I am Willow. I am very calm, sweet and loving. I have been described as a very clever girl. And SURPRISE I gave TLPS one perfect little puppy. I am lucky that I was able to find a temporary medical foster mom who looked after me and my pup until he went into a foster-to-adopt home. Now my foster mom has been taking care of me because I had a fox tail embedded in my sinus cavity. I am healed from my surgery and now I need to find a forever home. I am an Australian shepherd-husky cross. I am not good with cats or other dogs. And I am also not great with small kids - I like older kids - like teenagers perhaps. If you are interested in fostering to adopt me, please give TLPS a call to set up a meet and greet. |
Sadie - Unavailable |
Hi, my name is Sadie. I am a young female Lab Collie cross. I am spayed and around 10 months old. I was found wandering in the town of Taber and was unclaimed. I am very friendly and affectionate. When I went to the vets for my shots and spay, I showed no interest or aggression towards the vet cat. I am also very good with other dogs. I walk fairly well on a leash and love sniffing and looking around. Do you know we have little wild bush bunnies here . . .no one lets me chase them though. Do you think that you would like to meet me? |
Brynn - AvailableHey, I'm Brynn. As you guessed I was named after my color. I am a 10 month old female. I am believed to be a lab cross, I was a stray that was not claimed, so we're not 100% sure. I am a very playful and energetic girl, I do like to jump when I am excited, I am working on staying on all 4 paws, but I just get SO excited seeing humans! On my walks, I love to sniff everything, I do like to pull but the people at the shelter are helping me with this, you see I am still young and do have lots to learn, but I am very wiling and learn quickly. Guess what? I went to meet a couple of cats and I was curious of them, loved sniffing them but showed no signs of aggression. Would you like a pretty girl like me? |
Ruger - AvailableHEY THERE! I'm Ruger, well that's what they call me here anyway! They say I am a Pyrenees/lab cross, but no one really knows for sure as I was found in the MD and was never claimed. I am a fixed male who is around 10 months old. I love jumping up when excited, but I am improving on this. I also recently met some kittens, they were terrifying, but I was happy to sniff them and leave them be. If you would like to meet me, please get in contact with the hoomans to arrange a meet and greet! |
Phoenix - AvailableI am Phoenix, Nice to meet you! I came to Taber Lost Paws as I was found loose in the MD and my owners never claimed me. I am approximately a 1 year old Husky cross. I am very playful and love walks on leash, where I am learning to walk nicely. I enjoy having a bath, they found this out when I was spayed by a skunk, hehe. I also love belly loves. I seem to like other dogs but I am unsure about cats. I am a chilled boy, Are you looking for one? |
Bandit - the puppy - UnavailableHi, my name is Bandit and I was a surprise gift from Willow (Also looking for a home) I was the only pup that she gifted to Taber Lost Paws - so I has had all the attention that I wanted. They believe I am a cross with a Australian Shepherd and a great Pyrenees or a St Bernard, they're not really sure. But I am cute! I stayed with my mom in a foster care home until I was 10 weeks and then I was lucky to meet a great couple that are in the process of fostering to adopt me. |
Bandit - the big boy - AvailableHi, my name is Bandit. I was running at large in Taber and was brought to Taber Lost Paws. I am about one - two years old. I am an American XL bully and I am looking for a very particular type of home. I am an affectionate big teddy bear once I get to know you. I have had no training so will need a confident mentor and handler with patience to help me work through my puppy behaviors that have become habits. I have shown some healthy signs around some children and most dogs but TLPS have not been able to socialize me enough in that aspect as I have been working on basics like walking and practicing a calm mindset in all areas. If you are interested in me, you need to know that I have selective reactivity to some people that stems from fear. I have the habit of jumping up to hump on you when excited. I do pull if not corrected to heel, but am learning to walk better. I show some good signs around most dogs, I get reactive to some - intact males so far. I am an extremely loving boy, and I want to learn and impress you. You will need to be a strong mentor to help me transition into adulthood. If you think that this describes you and you are looking for a (what Amanda calls ) a house hippo like me, please give us a call. |
RoscoHey! I am approximately 6 months old, the people at lost paws aren’t really sure what breed I am but their best guess is a rottweiler cross. I get told I am a well-rounded puppy that gets on with all people, kids and dogs, Unfortunely I haven’t been tested with cats, yet! I am very laid back and LOVE attention. I enjoy walks and playing with humans and furry friends. Because I am still a puppy, I still need a little bit of guidance but is already doing incredible with loose leash training and I am acing at my crate training. I truly am the sweetest and ready to be someone's lifelong friend! Would you like to meet me? Please call and set up a meet and greet, From Rosco. |
